Looking to build a Camper Van / Moto Van / Work Van?
I purchased a few retired news channel vans to get a particular one I wanted, and now I will be selling the others to recoupe some of my money. The one I have ready right now is a nice 2009 Ford E-350 Econoline Extended body with a fiberglass hightop, and some of the equipment ( the camera mast, some of the wiring, etc. However we are in the process of removing all of that equipment right now) that Frontline equipped this with for a news channel. 2009 is the first year with the newest style interior, and the second year of the latest front end upgrade. This van just passed emissions and is fully equipped with a 6.8 V-10, a five speed automatic, tilt steering, cruise control, power windows, power door locks, and power mirrors. The passenger seat is equipped with a swivel base, there is a really tall, well built ALUMINUM ladder on the rear, heavy duty aftermarket rear sway bar, a chrome rear step bumper, and the complete chrome front end. The blue paint is in fair condition. This truck came with the good looking factory aluminum rims and it has a nice set of LT245/75-16" Michelin load range E tires with excellent tread.
These vans are 5 feet tall inside, have a larger aftermarket rear sway bar, and are equipped with two batteries, which helps when you are trying to build a camper van, Moto van, or work van and are wanting to add solar. The truck runs and drives very well, the news channels spend a lot of money on maintenance and replaced the engines as often as once every 100K miles to keep them from having issues and being down when the news stories pop up. This one has 279K and is going strong. These vans are well insulated inside, spray in foam on the sides, plywood sub floor with rubber coin flooring, and cloth covered paneling inside to keep the noise down and the temperatures in check. There is a back up alarm, and a JVC stereo with a back up camera setting but the current back up camera does not seem to be working ( the deck says "No Signal" when backing up so it might just be unplugged ) . Again, interior hight is about 5 feet. There are lights mounted all over inside but none of them are hooked up since they removed the side mounted generator and wiring going to and from it. The expensive Dometic A/C -heater unit on the roof is not hooked up either. There are large side compartments made for storage that are really well made and lockable. These are 100% rust free vans.

( UPDATE: I just removed everything inside except the mast, and I'm working on removing that at the moment so the blue van interior is basically cleared out for your build right now.).
